In her six years at ID, Mahoney has consistently led her clients through awards campaigns which each year culminated in an Academy Award® nomination. This year, Mahoney spearheaded Bret McKenzie’s Oscar® campaign which resulted in a win for Best Original Song. Previous Oscar® nominations for clients include Jennifer Lawrence for Best Actress, Josh Brolin for Best Supporting Actor, Vera Farmiga for Best Supporting Actress, Casey Affleck for Best Supporting Actor and Ellen Page for Best Actress.
In addition to the established actors on her roster, Liz has developed an eye for emerging talent. In her time at ID she has helped launch the careers of fresh-faced stars like her clients Asa Butterfield, Isabelle Fuhrman and Eve Hewson.
Prior to working at ID, Mahoney worked with longtime ID client Ben Stiller and his production company Red Hour Films. She began her career in entertainment working at both ICM and UTA as a talent agent trainee. Prior to moving to Los Angeles in 2002, Mahoney was a buyer in the fashion industry for Bloomingdales and Agnes b.
Mahoney is a graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Finance. She currently resides in Los Angeles with husband, writer/director/producer, Peter Cohen and together have a dog named Coco.
